Psychological Counselling
Psychological Counselling at Sankalpadisha Special School plays a key role in supporting the emotional and mental well-being of children with special needs. Our program focuses on helping children cope with a range of emotional challenges, such as anxiety, stress, low self-esteem, and difficulty managing relationships. By providing a safe and supportive space, our trained counselors work with each child to explore their feelings, build emotional resilience, and develop healthy coping strategies. Through individual and group counseling sessions, we aim to empower children to navigate their emotions in a positive and constructive way.
Our psychological counselling services are designed to help children understand and manage their emotions, improve self-awareness, and strengthen interpersonal skills. Techniques such as talk therapy, art therapy, and play therapy are used to facilitate self-expression, allowing children to communicate their feelings in ways that feel comfortable to them. Counselors work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create an individualized approach that addresses each child’s unique emotional needs.
